Copenhagen Microbiology Center Symposium 2015 – Friday 2 October 2015, Ingeniørernes Hus (IDA)
125 dedicated UCPH microbiologists participated in the CMC Symposium 2015. The Symposium where held at IDA Mødecenter and were the perfect frames for a whole day Symposium.
The CMC Symposium is a unique opportunity for UCPH Microbiologist to meet, interact and to be inspired by carefully selected academic topics for presentations. The day were full of excellent talks by Professor Søren Sørensen, Professor Leo Eberl and Professor Michael Givskov. 23 exiting flashtalks was presented and an award for the best flash talk was given to Post-doc Rosanna Hennessy, Section of Microbial Ecology and Biotechnology, Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences.
Many interesting Posters were presented during two lively poster session and Ph.D. student Gry Persson, Section of Veterinary Clinical Microbiology, Department of Veterinary Disease Biology, was awarded for the best Poster.
It was a successful and inspiring day in the spirit of UCPH Microbiologist.
